In 1925, the Frenchman Victor Bérard produced a translation of the Odyssey and between 1927 and 1929, he published four volumes of: Les Naviguations d’Ulysse. He takes for guide several characters or places like Ithaca, Penelope or Calypso for example. He will be in spite of himself in the Homeric quarrel between various writers of the world of letters[1].
