As we can now see on this manuscript, the name of the author is complete. Indeed, it is easier to read “Sveinbjorn Egilssen”. This manuscript is from 1854, and this one is far more accomplished than the previous one. The form looks better, actually he looks closer as a book than a manuscript. We can believe that the biding came after the translation, because it is in very good shape rather than the first one. This one also begins with a summary of the 24 songs. Just before that we have the title page and a text that might be a presentation of the author. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to read and to translate Icelandic, so we can only propose some suppositions. Before each verse we can see that they are numerated. Sometimes, when we change the song, the beginning of the next one is on the same page. We can also see that the disposition of the verses is very different, closer to the traditional manner.
As the previous one, it is very difficult to understand the organization between all the songs, because on the title page we can observe that it is suppose to be from 13th song to the 24 songs, but we can count 19 songs in the book. We have also, just after the 19th song, the 23rd with no reasons. We can see few restauration of the paper with Japanese paper, which were probably made at the same time as the biding. As the others, the book is not complete, we don’t have a full translation of the Odyssey in Icelandic. This work is more accomplished because it there are more translated songs, in a better shape, and all of it looks more organize than the two others manuscripts. Moreover, the writing is far more comfortable to read. The books is probably a in-4, rather the first one an in-8
